Drum making workshop
You can make your drum on the land where deer roam wild, or we can come to you and work in your garden.
We have three options for you to craft your own drum.
We recommend that you prepare the deer hide yourself, especially if you intend to use your drum for a spiritual purpose. Working with the hides by hand will deepen your connection with the spirit of the deer the land and the drum itself.
Options
Hide prepration and drum making
Two day workshop where you will prepare the hide by hand yourself and then use this to craft your drum. (These are not two consecutive days as we need to allow the hide to stretch and dry before you make your drum)
Hide preparation only
A one day workshop where you will prepare the hide by hand yourself. Once dried we will post the prepared hide to you for you to craft your drum.
Drum making only
A one day workshop where you will craft a drum from a deer hide previously prepared by Sarah
Costs
The cost of our workshops will vary dependant on the options you choose and the number of people taking part in the workshop.
Prices generally start at £180 per person.
